As you can probably guess, this means that green tea is great for protecting our skin from oxidation, or any substances in the air that can cause slow damage to our cells (1).

Just when you thought green tea was packed with antioxidants, we’re here to let you know that matcha is often called the antioxidant powerhouse. Think of it as the mitochondria of antioxidants for the body.
